Tulsi Krishna
Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum) is part of the mint family & cousin of sweet basil. Krishna, 1 of 3 types of Tulsi, is named after the blue-skinned Hindu god. Its purple stems & magenta leaves exude an aroma reminiscent of licorice with a touch of citrus. The pleasant taste is crisp & mildly peppery. Sacred in India, Tulsi plays a significant role in Ayurvedic medicine. It is believed to reduce stress & contribute to one's well-being.
