Cha Cha Chai!
Our Awarding-Winning Masala Chai recipe is rich, warming & generous. This tea that was designed to complement milk & good enough to stand alone. Suggestions for preparation included in each box.
Cha Cha Chai was awarded the honor of BEST NEW TEA at SCAA in 2005.
Cha Cha Chai Fizz
For one beverage; 2 ounces of cold Cha Cha Chai concentrate (recipe below)
1 - 2 teaspoons of maple syrup
2 tablespoons of half and half
2 -3 ice cubes crushed
Cold seltzer
In an 8 ounce glass pour in 2 ounces of Cha Cha Chai concentrate. Add the maple syrup, the half and half and crushed ice cubes. Fill the glass with seltzer as you constantly whisk with a fork.
Cha Cha Chai Concentrate Recipe
Boil ten ounces of water. Pour water over 6 teaspoons of Cha Cha Chai by SerendipiTea. Steep for 5 minutes. Strain. This should yield 8 ounces of concentrate enough to make four Cha Cha Chai Fizz drinks.

Steeping Instructions
- Fill kettle with fresh water, then heat.
- Warm your teapot with a little hot water, discard, place your tea leaves in teapot, allowing heat of the pot to release bouquet of the tea leaves.
- Heat water to a rolling boil (approximately 212°). Steep 1 teaspoon (2.5 g/8 oz. cup) up to 5 minutes & refresh cup as desired.
*Vary time according to taste, & remember that steeping tea leaves beyond 5 mins does not contribute to flavor, only bitterness.
