Our Black & Blue blend is a tribute to longtime NYC (Queens) resident, Louis Armstrong ~ a GREAT man, brilliant musician, one of the fathers of Jazz. He touched & transformed the world. Grab a cuppa & delight in his performance.
Blueberry Lime Tipple (one cocktail)
Recipe from Judith Krall-Russo
- 4 ounces of cold brewed SerendipiTea's Black & Blue
- 2 ounces of cold Simply Limeade
- 1 ounce of Tanqueray gin (or gin of your choice)
- Lime wedge
Put one or two crushed ice cubes in a glass. Add the Black & Blue then the Simply Limeade and the Tanqueray gin. Stir. Garnish with a lime wedge.
To make a non-alcoholic beverage eliminate the gin.

Steeping Instructions
- Fill kettle with fresh water, then heat.
- Warm your teapot with a little hot water, discard, place your tea leaves in teapot, allowing heat of the pot to release bouquet of the tea leaves.
- Heat water to a rolling boil (approximately 212°). Steep 1 teaspoon (2.5 g/8 oz. cup) up to 5 minutes & refresh cup as desired.
*Vary time according to taste, & remember that steeping tea leaves beyond 5 mins does not contribute to flavor, only bitterness.
