Assam FOP Chardwar Estate
Chardwar Estate had been a terribly neglected tea garden. With loving care, endless time, significant investment, and detailed attention of the family that purchased the garden in 2015, the garden and its community returned to its former glory. Nestled between the Brahmaputra River and a famed wildlife sanctuary, the garden is rich in biodiversity and is a safe haven for flora and fauna.
Hot, humid days and heavy rainfalls make happy tea plants. Chardwar's FOP (Flowery Orange Pekoe) offers a traditional malty Assam. Enjoy this smooth, full-bodied cuppa with lingering mellow finish.

Steeping Instructions
- Fill kettle with fresh water, then heat.
- Warm your teapot with a little hot water, discard, place your tea leaves in teapot, allowing heat of the pot to release bouquet of the tea leaves.
- Heat water to a rolling boil (approximately 212°). Steep 1 teaspoon (2.5 g/8 oz. cup) up to 5 minutes & refresh cup as desired.
*Vary time according to taste, & remember that steeping tea leaves beyond 5 mins does not contribute to flavor, only bitterness.
