Hard Black Jack Recipe
Ingredients:
SerendipiTea's Black Jack Tea
100% Apple Juice
Hard Apple Cider - cold
Spiced Cherry Bitters
First brew the Black Jack Tea from SerendipiTea in apple juice. For every 6 ounces of juice use 2 teaspoons of tea.
Bring juice to a boil then pour over tea. Brew for 6 minutes. Strain and chill.
When ready to serve pour 3 ounces of black tea infused apple juice in a glass ~ add 3 ounces of cold hard cider.
Stir and add 1-2 dashes of spiced cherry bitters.
Garnish with an apple slice.

Steeping Instructions
- Fill kettle with fresh water, then heat.
- Warm your teapot with a little hot water, discard, place your tea leaves in teapot, allowing heat of the pot to release bouquet of the tea leaves.
- Heat water to a rolling boil (approximately 212°). Steep 1 teaspoon (2.5 g/8 oz. cup) up to 5 minutes & refresh cup as desired.
*Vary time according to taste, & remember that steeping tea leaves beyond 5 mins does not contribute to flavor, only bitterness.
