Warm, cozy, and made for slow fall mornings. This twist on classic bread pudding combines soft brioche, tender apples, cinnamon, and strongly brewed apple tea for an extra layer of flavor in every bite.
Ingredients:
- 6 cups cubed brioche or challah
- 1 large apple, diced
- 1 cup strongly brewed SerendipiTea's Eve’s Temptation apple tea, coole
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Method:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Place the bread and diced apple in a greased baking dish.
- Whisk together the brewed tea, milk, eggs, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and melted butter.
- Pour over the bread and gently press everything down so it can soak up the custard.
- Let sit for about 10 minutes, then bake for 35–45 minutes, until golden on top and set in the center.
- Serve warm with a drizzle of maple syrup, caramel, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
