One large downy bud & two plump leaves of the large-leaf Shi-da Cultivar are picked & must be nearly if not exactly same size. Skillfully crafted into long, flat "swords", this extraordinary tea offers a lasting orchid fragrance & sweet taste. Prepare in a glass to experience the Phoenix Dance of the leaves as they sway ever so gently. Rare even in China.

      Steeping Instructions

      1. Fill kettle with fresh water, then heat.

      2. Warm your teapot with a little hot water, discard, place your tea leaves in teapot, allowing heat of the pot to release bouquet of the tea leaves.

      3. Heat water below boiling (approx 180°). Steep equivalent of 2.5 g/8oz. cup up to 3 minutes & refresh as desired.

      *Prepare in a glass to experience the Phoenix Dance of the leaves as they sway ever so gently.
