Remarkable, delightfully unusual tea from the land of magnificent Oolong. An absolute treat of round, full, Assam-like notes, delicate cinnamon & what can best be described as Wintergreen coolness, almost menthol in taste & mouth feel. Long gently twisted leaves of this Sin Shin/Assamica hybrid are hand crafted by Tea Master William Huang. We are humbled & so fortunate to have met this remarkable young tea man....and we hope that he will always make a portion of his exceptional Ruby 18 for SerendipiTea to share with you!
Ingredients:
Taiwanese Black Tea
Steeping InstructionsTaiwanese Black Tea
1. Fill kettle with fresh water, then heat.
2. Warm your teapot with a little hot water, discard, place your tea leaves in teapot, allowing heat of the pot to release bouquet of the tea leaves.
3. Heat water to rolling boil (212°). Steep 1 teaspoon (2.5 g/8 oz. cup) up to 5 minutes.
*Vary time according to taste, & remember that steeping tea leaves beyond 5 mins does not contribute to flavor, only bitterness.
