Harvested in early Spring of 2023, the careful plucking of one bud & two leaves from the garden’s notably large leaf tea plants were gathered, sun-dried (resulting in green tea) & then pressed into perfectly formed discs. The delightful liquid produces soft, flowery notes & a lingering sweetness. The cakes can be consumed when purchased or stored away from light, heat, moisture allowing the tea to age. Use 5-8 g per serving ideally in a Gai Wan (three-piece cup with lid) or small teapot. Break off pieces with a clean letter opener or slender knife by insert into the cake, then gently loosening. Keep as many leaves intact as possible. Traditionally, the first infusion rinses & "wakes up" the tea & is discarded. Refresh the leaves to enjoy as many cups in a sitting as you like.

The elephant motif is not only beautiful but significant. Elephants reside in the region where the tea is grown & often appear near the gardens. They generally, will not consume plants sprayed with pesticides, thus acting as “nature’s inspectors”. Yingpan Tea Mountain, producers of organic & pesticide-free tea, proudly exhibit this grand creature as their logo.

125g Cake

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0708/7623/3884/files/RawPuerh_ac08c7f6-9097-4665-909b-3b1eb3939d62.jpg?v=1765995646
puerhstickyricetuocha
Pu'Erh Sticky Rice Tuo Cha

Introducing Tuo Cha with a Twist.
