Harvested in early Spring of 2023, the careful plucking of one bud \u0026amp; two leaves from the garden’s notably large leaf tea plants were gathered, sun-dried (resulting in green tea) \u0026amp; then pressed into perfectly formed discs. The delightful liquid produces soft, flowery notes \u0026amp; a lingering sweetness. The cakes can be consumed when purchased or stored away from light, heat, moisture allowing the tea to age. Use 5-8 g per serving ideally in a Gai Wan (three-piece cup with lid) or small teapot. Break off pieces with a clean letter opener or slender knife by insert into the cake, then gently loosening. Keep as many leaves intact as possible. Traditionally, the first infusion rinses \u0026amp; \"wakes up\" the tea \u0026amp; is discarded.
