Greenthread is a traditional tisane of the Navajo & Hopi people, this wild drought-tolerant perennial herb is indigenous to the Colorado Plateau. Grown in New Mexico using organic, sustainable farming methods, this herb (also known as Cota) is used to benefit the kidneys (mildly diuretic), alleviates stomach upset, & purifies the blood. It also contains flavonoids with antioxidant effects.

Steeping Instructions:
1. Fill kettle with fresh water, then heat.
2. Heat water until rolling (approx 212°). Steep 1 teaspoon up to 5 minutes or to taste; refresh cup as desired.
