Yellow Tea is only made in China. Similar to green tea manufacturing, the Yellow color is due to an extra step during production called "Sealing the Yellow" ~ after pan-frying, there is a slow oxidization process where the buds & leaves are wrapped in paper or cloth, then dry naturally for a few hours. The process is repeated sometime for days. Yellow tea is mello & sweet without the grassy notes associated with green tea.
