Early spring tea from Keemun County, located in south of Anhui. The highest grade of burgundy teas -slender, tightly twisted, jet-black leaves with downy tips steep to a deep, orchid-scented, full-bodied sweet cup, bright reddish-brown color. Toasty with a hint of smokiness, complex & higly prized.

Chinese Black Tea (Organic)

Steeping Instructions:

1. Fill kettle with fresh water, then heat.

2. Warm your teapot with a little hot water, discard, place your tea leaves in teapot (one level teaspoon per cup), allowing heat of the pot to release bouquet of the tea leaves.

3. Heat water to rolling boil (212°). Steep up to 5 minutes.

*Vary time according to taste, & remember that steeping tea leave beyond 5 mins does not contribute to flavor, only bitterness.
