Located in the Uva Highlands of Sri Lanka, Blackwood Tea Estate is a section of the Idulgashinna Estate (Ceylon Green) the world's first certified organic tea garden. This tea is grown at an elevation of nearly 5,000 ft above sea level.
The slim, gently twisted black & deep chestnut hued leaves steep to a bright copper-colored cup. Distinct citrus notes, medium body & clean, brisk character are hallmarks of this highly valued black tea.

Steeping Instructions:
1. Fill kettle with fresh water, then heat. 2. Warm your teapot with a little hot water, discard, place your tea leaves in teapot (one level teaspoon per cup), allowing heat of the pot to release bouquet of the tea leaves. 3. Heat water to rolling boil (212°). Steep up to 5 minutes.
*Vary time according to taste, & remember that steeping tea leave beyond 5 mins does not contribute to flavor, only bitterness.
